We are so lucky in Nailsworth to have a huge variety of local shops selling everything youFountain Street with the Pepperpot Church could possibly need.

There are three supermarkets, three bakers, two butchers, two whole food shops, a delicatessen, a greengrocers,  a florist,  three charity shops, two bookshops, two dry cleaners, one launderette, a betting shop, two china shops [one where you can paint your own designs], two chemists, two opticians, three furniture shops, a jeweller, a carpet shop, four clothes shops, a shoe shop, a travel agent, a kitchen shop, two hardware shops, a sports shop, computer games shop, three gift shops, two printing/stationery shops, four arts and craft shops, two antique shops, one garden shop and garden centre, a children’s shop, six hairdressers, a pet shop, a newsagent,  a wine wholesaler and an off-licence.

In addition to these we have, two banks, four A. T. M. points, a post office counter, a building society, three estate agents and an employment agency.

Nailsworth has achieved "Fair Trade Town" status.
