Nailsworth Community Partnership – Terms of Reference

 The Partnership Steering Group objectives are for the benefit of the community of Nailsworth (Gloucestershire) and the surrounding Parishes.

 The aims of the Partnership, which includes the Action Plan, will be: 

  1. To lead, support, deliver and co-ordinate, as appropriate, projects which improve and enhance the prosperity, heritage, environment and community life of the area
     
  2. To enable and enhance communication and information sharing among the community
     
  3. Membership is open to interested and active individuals who have a positive contribution to the organisations within the town of Nailsworth and the surrounding parishes
     
  4. The Partnership will select a Chairperson annually
     
  5. Nailsworth Community Partnership will meet at least twice a year, and as appropriate, to update community groups
     
  6. The Partnership Steering Group will meet monthly, or when appropriate, under which will operate working groups for town projects. The working groups will be responsible to the Steering Group
     
  7. Working Groups for town projects will be held when appropriate
     
  8. The Partnership will report back to Nailsworth Town Council, Stroud District Council and the County Council representatives
